Strengths Finder

In week four of HONR 201, we were advised to take the Strengths Finder test. This test took me through a long series of timed questions, some simpler than others, about how I react in an array of situations, and what I think my strengths and weaknesses are. After completing the test, the system generated a dashboard of my top five strengths based off of how I answered all of the questions. My top five, in order, were restorative, achiever, learner, consistent, and futuristic. Seeing that a computer test generated these for me was pretty impressive, because I totally could have matched at least three of those to myself.

After obtaining the results from this test, I read about each of my strengths in the Strengths Based Leadership book. I believe that this overall experience helped me meet rubric levels 1 and 2 in 'values' of leadership, because I had generated a list of personal strengths, and reflected about them through writing for the course after reading about them in the Strengths Based Leadership book.
